A lesson for Beginner & Intermediate mandolin players on how to play some Irish Polkas. For the first time in these Free Lessons I'll be teaching two tunes in one lesson: Egan's Polka and John Ryan's Polka. They are almost always played as a pair in sessions, so it seemed only right that that is how we learned them in this lesson. After we've looked at both tunes, we'll have a full jam through both at the end with some added Bouzouki.
